Enchanted Gifts Castle Rock Colorado
Today was sure a fun day! First a massage at WISE Massage Therapy, which is now located in downtown Castle rock. Then afterwords I treated myself to a nice beer and tasty burger at Maddie’s Biergarten located close by. After I finished my meal I started strolling towards my car, but this little shop drew me in. That place was Enchanted Gifts.
Upon first sight, Enchanted Gifts gives one the sense that it’s a little bit pagan, and a little bit Christmas. Various bird baths, statues of saints and other garden ornamentation decorate the outside. Among the most interesting things in the yard of Enchanted Gifts were these wind spinner objects as you can see in the first photo. They were pretty mesmerizing, although some of that might have been the IPA from Maddie’s Biergarten still settling in my belly. There was even a friendly rabbit beckoning me to come in… How could I refuse?
The shop has all sorts of neat little gifts – from candles to Christmas ornamants and many things in between. There are items for fairy gardens, soaps, and all sorts of fun stuff. It almost felt like a Renaissance festival in there! I got drawn in by the lovely shelves of truffles located near the register. The woman tending the shop was delightful to talk to – and her Scottish accent was so warm and friendly ( I am a sucker for accents, what can I say) So I bought some chocolates for the ride home and bid farewell to this quirky and awesome little gift store.
If you’re looking for any sort of Christmas decoration or ornament, the upstairs of Enchanted Gifts is a lot like the North pole – tons of beautiful ornaments and other yultide decor await you there. And just in general if you’re seeking a gift for someone special in your life and you happen to be in Castle Rock, I would definitely recommend stopping by Enchanted Gifts.
