Yummy Pho Parker Colorado

yummy-pho-noodle-house-parker-coloradoLast week I decided to go get something a little bit different for lunch and that’s something ended up being yummy pho. Located off of Main Street and Dransfelt near the AMC 20 mile 10 theater, yummy pho is nestled into a strip mall. Now this is my first time visiting so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, except I did expect some fun. I believe it actually went here the day after New Years Day so it was still pretty quiet around town, and quite cold. When I walked up to the restaurant doors I could notice the steaming of the food creating condensation all of the windows. Nobody open the door to walk in a really warm tasty smell came to my nostrils and I knew I was in for a good fo treat. I waited in line for about 5 minutes and tried to look at the menus that were posted on the glass wall however they are a bit hard to decipher when standing in line. Once I got up to the counter, the owner was extremely friendly and helped me pick out my entree. Seating is very casual and I helped myself to an open table after I had ordered.

The wontons came out first with sweet and sour sauce and they were pretty darn good if you ask me, & I tend to be a bit of a crab cheese wontons snob – if there was such a thing. Soon after I got my appetizer my fool it’s ready and it smells delicious. He came with all the usual fixings including mung bean sprouts, Thai basil, and freshly cut jalapenos. I mix all the ingredients into my broth and began what turned out to be a really delicious meal. I believe my entire meal was under $12 and by the end of it I was completely stuffed. I know there are a couple of the restaurants in Parker that I have to review but until I do those and compare yummy Pho is, at least for now, definitely my favorite pho option in town. Not too fancy, but tasty. The only recommendation I could give is to have menus available to those who are waiting in line because it’s kind of hard to see with the visual menu that is provided on the wall. I’ll definitely be returning!
