Parker Colorado Farmers Market 2018
Summer is in full swing and that means it’s time for the Parker Colorado Farmers Market once again! Every Sunday from 8 am – 1 PM on mainstreet in Parker Colorado. The Parker Colorado Farmers Market features all sorts of vendors, with fresh produce, meats, breads, crafts and artisan goods. It’s a hell of a lot more fun than shopping at the grocery store, so if you haven’t checked it out, make sure to wake up early on a Sunday and visit the Parker Colorado Farmers Market !
The Parker Colorado Farmers market starts early each Sunday morning, probably around 8 AM. There’s a wide variety of goods available here, from fresh produce available from several local farms (the Miller Farms stand will let you fill up a bag with any sort of produce for $10, and Palizzi Farms of Brighton Colorado has my favorite red onions and other great vegetables available) There are also an assortment of meat products at the market like bison meat, lots of different sausages and chorizos, and plenty of locally raised beef steaks. A new addition to the Parker Colorado Farmers market I have really been enjoying is Mile Hi Fungi, which provides delicious and exotic mushrooms which are absolutely fantastic for stirfry or any dish that calls for mushrooms. These are absolutely beautiful and your dinner guests will definitely be asking where you picked them up!
Along with the fresh fruits, vegetables and meats, there are lots of artisan and craft goods to be had at the Parker farmers market, so if you’re tired of getting the same old stuff at the super market, wake up early next Sunday and get down to mainstreet and check it out! You’ll be glad you did and it’s a great way to get out and meet some of the local farmers, and some of your local neighbors in Parker!
